Tools for Writing Your Own Vows

Whether or not to write your own vows seems to be one of the dilemmas that cause engaged couples to lose the most sleep.  There is no right or wrong answer.  It should be a positive experience.  If the process induces too much stress on one or both parties, you may decide to have your Officiant write your vows for you (as about 70% of my clients do), or at least have the Officiant lend a helping hand.

Some of my clients want to share their deepest thoughts, feelings and promises on their wedding day, yet do not feel comfortable saying them in front of a crowd of people.  Many of them choose to privately share their vows before the ceremony, then use the Officiant-written vows for the ceremony.  Feel free to be creative.....just do what feels right for you.  I will be leaving resources in this section for couples who want to give writing their vows a go. If you are reading this and know of other resources, please message me with the link!
